    Introduction

    Automatic inductance capacitance tester is specially developed and researched for problems existing in substation field measurement of capacitance value of capacitor, it can solve the following problems:

    (1) Field measurement capacitor needs dismantling cables, not only the big workload but also easy to damage the capacitor.

    (2) Low capacitance meter output voltage causes the fault detection rate is low.

    (3) Reactor inductance measurement.

    CIT Automatic Capacitance and Inductance Tester for Capacitor Measurement

    The inductance capacitance tester adopts the bridge circuit structure, the standard capacitor and sample capacitor as two arms of the bridge circuit. When conducting the capacitor capacitance value measurement, test voltage applies on the standard capacitor and sample capacitor at the same time. Processor obtains capacitance value of sample capacitor by sensors with acquisition the current signals through the two capacitors after processing.

    Due to adopting the standard capacitor, sample capacitor synchronous sampling technology, it may not affected by the power supply voltage fluctuation. Combined with fully automatic measurement process, which avoids the error due to manual operation, it has the characteristics of good stability, good repeatability, accurate and reliable, the machine has tested object automatic identification and short circuit protection function.
